The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel managed by
Bharat hotels is located at the bank of Fateh Sagar lake enjoys

Palace. The hotel was built by Maharana Bhupal Singh originally
in 1911 as a residence of Mr. Winn Gate political agent at that
time and in 1945 Mr. Winngate was shifted to Hathi Pole and the
palace was rebuilt as a royal guest house to house the
dignitaries, visiting princes and British officers. The hotel is
a part of Intercontinental chains of hotels and offers

The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Reviews
We stayed there for 2 nights and it was a nice hotel. we would
recommend it enough for anyone intending to stay in Udaipur. The
hotel is located situated on a small hill overlooking one of the
lakes offering great views of the surrounding area. Its located
approx 5 mins from the centre of Udaipur & is an oasis of calm.
In the evening you can sit outside the front of the hotel &
watch the sun set over the lake & hills. Magical. The rooms are
spacious, modern & tastefully decorated with all the mod con's
associated with major hotel chains (TV, air-con, mini-bar etc.).
I believe the hotel is part of the Intercontinental chain. The
bathroom is large & has a walk in shower. The restaurant serves
good buffet & a la carte meals. There is also a large outdoor
pool.
Meghna Reddy - Bangalore
My lake-view room is large, warmly decorated and
has the usual modern convenience (air con, kettle, coffee &
tea). The closets are large and newspapers is delivered in the
morning free of charge. The photos provided by the hotel are
pretty accurate. Ask for a lake-view room to enjoy the sunset
view over Fateh Sagar Lake from your cushioned window seats. The
breakfast and dinner buffets are quite good. Eggs are nicely
cooked to order. Two computer terminals are available at
reception for internet access. Hotel staff at Reception, gift
shop and Housekeeping are friendly and professional.
