Hotel Jaiwana Haveli is located on the
east bank of lake Pichola, it offers some of the most
breathtaking views of the languorous lake. Combining the best of
modern facilities with the hoary tradition of Rajput culture,
the hotel is professionally managed by family members with a
vast experience in hospitality trade.
Guests can also savor the picturesque sight of the mountain
ranges around Udaipur besides being privy to vantage views of
the famous Lake Palace. The roof top restaurant with its carved
pillars and arches overlooking the lake is popular with the
tourists. Equally admired are the hotel's lobby, the Jharokhas
and an excellent choice of menu. The close proximity of the
hotel to the renowned City Palace complex of Udaipur is yet
another attraction.
The two museums in the palace house a treasure of art and
artifacts of Mewar, from a bygone era. You could also go for a
boat ride on the Lake Pichola to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
Fancy yourself enjoying the luxuries of this little palace in
white marble.

Jaiwana Haveli Reviews
We arrived in Udaipur 2 days before and were booked in Mewar
Haveli, so the guy at mewar tells us to go to this hotel (
opposite his place ). The owner here shows us 2 kinds of rooms (
one in the hotel itself which was good but no TV !! ), the other
one was in a new wing which was in the hotel premises but entry
to it was through his house ( Not a problem !! ). That new room
had a LCD TV and very well furnished and a extremely comfortable
bed. This guy also has his own parking which was a boon to us as
we went in our own car.

Stayed here for 2 days in the month of January and loved Jaiwana
Haveli. Its a nice heritage hotel centrally located and offers a
lovely view, so good for the nearby temples, shops and city
palace. Udaipur is such a beautiful city, although it still
hasn't got over it's Octopussy fixation 25 years on! Its
situation gives a fantastic lake view from its rooftop terrace
bar/restaurant and the corner rooms on the upper floors have the
best views of the Lake Palace from your bed - they are the rooms
pictured on many websites! Room rates are very
reasonable price. The staff are young and friendly and the place
is clean and well furnished. Internet, laundry and money
changing facilities etc all available and we were offered a pick
up from the station, although on the day there was a mix up and
we made our own way to the hotel. Food nice, had lovely lamb
curry the first night, but suffered the next day for 24hrs
having eaten a chicken dish (which was the only downer) -
despite this, I would still thoroughly recommend - book well
ahead and ask for one the the 'rooms with a view', but maybe
stick to veg food!
